DAEI is a system that allows you to derive additional financial value from the electricity consumed when charging an electric vehicle. When you charge your electric vehicle at home, at work, or at another private charging location, your charging data can be used to accumulate DAEI benefits. “Circle Link” connects compatible charging stations, collects charging data, and manages the accumulated DAEI benefits, so you don’t have to worry about technical accounting—just charge as usual, and the value accumulates automatically.
DAEI units are accounting units that are accumulated for every kilowatt-hour of electric vehicle charging recorded. It is these DAEI units that are converted into specific monetary DAEI rewards. The more electricity you use for charging, the more DAEI units you accumulate, and the total accumulated DAEI rewards increase accordingly. In the “Circle Link” app, you can see how many DAEI units and how much DAEI reward you have already accumulated.
For every kilowatt-hour of charging recorded, 3.9 cents in DAEI benefits are accumulated. Depending on the amount of electricity used for charging, you can accumulate approximately €100–250 in DAEI benefits per year. For example, charging about 300 kWh per month accumulates about €10.8 per month or €129 per year; 500 kWh per month – about 18 € per month or 216 € per year; 700 kWh per month – about 25.2 € per month or 302.4 € per year. The final amount depends on the actual amount of charging.
No. One of the most important advantages of DAEI is that you don’t have to change a thing. You charge your electric vehicle just as you always have, and Circle Link takes care of the technical data tracking, administration, and allocation of DAEI credits. DAEI credits accumulate in the background, requiring no additional action during each charge. It’s a simple way to get more value from the charging infrastructure you already have.
Accumulating DAEI benefits is relevant for electric vehicle owners and companies that charge electric vehicles at private charging stations. This includes home charging, corporate electric vehicle fleets with private charging infrastructure, employee charging stations at workplaces, customer parking lots, and other private charging stations. The general rule is simple: the more electricity used to charge electric vehicles, the greater the number of DAEI units accumulated and the greater the potential for DAEI benefits.
Yes. Home charging is one of the main areas where you can earn DAEI benefits. If you charge your electric vehicle at home or at another private charging location, depending on the amount of electricity consumed, you can earn approximately €100–250 in DAEI benefits per year. Simply connect a compatible home charging station to the “Circle Link” system, and DAEI credits will begin to accumulate for every kilowatt-hour recorded.
The process consists of four simple steps. First, you connect a compatible charging station to the Circle Link system. Second, the station records the amount of electricity consumed while charging the electric vehicle. Third, Circle Link manages the data and calculates the accumulated DAEI units and the corresponding DAEI reward. Fourth, you can view your accumulated DAEI reward in the Circle Link app and, once you select a payout, transfer it to your bank account.
Many popular electric vehicle charging stations can be integrated into the “Circle Link” DAEI system. For DAEI units to be tracked accurately, the station must be compatible and capable of transmitting charging data. If you’re not sure whether your station is compatible, you can provide its manufacturer and model, and our team will check the connectivity options. You can also check compatibility in the charging station instructions section.
To get started, connect a compatible charging station to Circle Link and start earning DAEI points for every kilowatt-hour of charging recorded. Download the Circle Link app, connect the station according to the instructions provided, and charge as usual. From that point on, DAEI rewards are accumulated automatically, without any additional action required on your part.
You can track all your accumulated DAEI rewards and DAEI units in the Circle Link app. When you want to use your accumulated balance, you select a payout option and transfer the funds directly to your bank account. This way, DAEI rewards become real financial benefits rather than just a theoretical number—you can see both your accumulation progress and the option to withdraw the money at a time that’s convenient for you.
The final amount accumulated depends on several factors: the actual amount of electricity consumed during charging, the data transmitted by the charging station, and the applicable DAEI terms and conditions. The calculations are based on a rate of 3.9 cents per kilowatt-hour of recorded charging. Since DAEI units are earned based on the actual energy recorded, the more and more regularly you charge, the greater your annual DAEI benefit will be.
“Circle Link” combines electric vehicle charging, data tracking, and DAEI benefit management into a single system. You charge your electric vehicle as usual, and “Circle Link” helps convert the charging data into additional DAEI benefits. Charging data is collected and managed in one place, and for every kilowatt-hour recorded, DAEI units with real financial value are accumulated. It’s a simple way to make more efficient use of your existing charging infrastructure.
The accumulation of DAEI credits is primarily intended for private charging locations—homes, corporate electric vehicle fleets, employee charging stations, customer parking lots, and other private charging stations. This means that DAEI credits are earned from private infrastructure that you own or use, where charging data can be accurately tracked. If you have a private charging station, connecting it to “Circle Link” will begin earning you DAEI credits for every kilowatt-hour recorded.
Yes. The DAEI system is particularly relevant for companies with electric vehicle fleets or multiple charging stations, so you can connect more than one compatible station to “Circle Link.” Each connected charging station transmits its own charging data, and the DAEI units accumulated for the energy recorded at those stations are collectively reflected in your total DAEI balance. This makes it easier to manage a larger charging infrastructure and monitor your overall accumulation results in one place.
For companies that charge electric vehicles using private infrastructure, the benefits of DAEI allow them to derive additional economic value from ongoing charging without changing their daily processes. Since corporate fleets often consume large amounts of electricity, the potential for accumulating DAEI units is correspondingly greater. Circle Link manages data tracking and the allocation of DAEI benefits, so the company does not need a separate technical solution—the accumulated DAEI benefits are visible in the app and can be transferred to a bank account.
