1. Scope
By using the Circle Link mobile app or web platform (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“TOU”), which form a legally binding agreement between you and UAB CircleLink, a limited liability company registered in Lithuania, with its office at S. Dariaus ir S. Girėno g. 42A, LT-02189 Vilnius (“Circle Link,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
“You” or “your” refers to the individual or legal entity using the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.
The Service is currently offered free of charge. It is provided “as is,” without guarantees or warranties. While we aim to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, or compatibility with every device or EV system.
Circle Link may use third-party data and integrations (e.g., from EV charging network operators via OCPI). Any limitations or terms from those providers may also apply to your use of the Service.
2. Use of the Service
By using the Service, you agree to:
Use the Service in good faith and solely for its intended purpose — namely, to plan your own electric vehicle (EV) routes and charge your vehicle at public charging stations.
Comply with all applicable laws, rules, and terms of use set forth by Circle Link or any of its partners, suppliers, or connected service providers.
Keep your login credentials secure, and not share your account with others. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account unless you have previously notified us of a security breach.
Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or a potential breach of the Service's security.
Not misrepresent your identity or impersonate others while using the Service.
Not interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to it, including attempting to gain unauthorized access or introduce harmful code (such as malware, bots, or scraping tools).
Respect the community by using the Service in a lawful and responsible manner, and only for personal or internal business purposes.
Only submit content (such as reviews, station comments, or feedback) that is truthful, accurate, and respectful. You may not post misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, offensive, or otherwise unlawful content.
Accept full responsibility for any content you submit or share via the Service, including ensuring that you have the legal right to publish it and that it complies with these Terms of Use. Circle Link reserves the right to moderate, remove, or report inappropriate or illegal content at its discretion.
3. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
1. Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights (including data protection or IP laws);
2. Misuse login methods (e.g., social login) or impersonate others, including Circle Link staff or charging partners;
3. Post or share false, offensive, misleading, defamatory, or infringing content or reviews;
4. Spam, overuse search features, or publish irrelevant or repetitive content;
5. Circumvent, hack, disrupt, or damage any part of the Service or our technical infrastructure;
6. Use automated bots, scrapers, or unauthorized tools to access or collect data;
7. Reverse-engineer, copy, modify, resell, or repackage the Service or any of its features;
8. Track or monitor individuals without their knowledge and valid consent;
9. Abuse the system with excessive requests, exploit its features beyond intended use, or undermine its integrity.
Violations may result in account suspension or termination, and may be reported to relevant authorities.
4. Your Responsibility for Your Account
If you choose to create an account on the Service, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must not share your account or allow others to access the Service using your credentials unless a specific feature allows for authorized multi-user or team access. You are responsible for ensuring that any such authorized users comply with these Terms of Use.
If you suspect any unauthorized access, misuse, or breach of security relating to your account, you must notify Circle Link immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are misused or appear to be compromised.
5. Your Content
As part of using the Service, you may submit or transmit various forms of content, including but not limited to charging station reviews, usage feedback, vehicle data, preferences, photos, or location information (collectively, “User Content”).
5.1 Your Responsibility and Representations
By submitting User Content through the Service, you represent and warrant that:
You own or control all necessary rights to the content or have obtained the appropriate permissions;
Your content is truthful, relevant, non-defamatory, and does not infringe on any intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights of others;
Your content complies with applicable laws and is not offensive, misleading, obscene, threatening, or otherwise objectionable.
You are solely responsible for any User Content you submit. Circle Link does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of any content shared by users, and disclaims any liability for such content.
5.2 License to Use Your Content
By posting, uploading, or otherwise submitting User Content, you grant Circle Link a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, transferable and sublicensable license to use, copy, reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, perform, display, distribute, and make derivative works from that content in connection with the operation, development, or promotion of the Service, in any media format and through any media channels.
This license remains in effect even if you stop using the Service or delete your content, unless you specifically request removal and we are legally permitted and technically able to do so.
5.3 Moderation and Removal
Circle Link reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review, moderate, edit, or delete User Content at its sole discretion, including but not limited to cases where the content:
Violates these Terms or any applicable law;
Is false, harmful, misleading, or abusive;
Contains inappropriate language or spam;
Harms the reputation of charging station operators, users, or Circle Link.
Circle Link also reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or egregiously violate these guidelines.
5.4 Community Transparency and Visibility
Certain forms of User Content (e.g. reviews, tips, error reports) may be publicly visible to other users. By submitting such content, you understand that:
Other users may view, respond to, or rely on your submissions;
Circle Link may aggregate and display community-sourced information (e.g., best-rated chargers, most reported issues) for the benefit of users;
Your display name or anonymized identifier may be shown alongside your submissions.
You are advised not to include personal or sensitive data in areas intended for public use. Circle Link assumes no liability for damages resulting from disclosure of such information submitted by you.
5.5 Reporting Violations
If you believe that certain User Content is unlawful, abusive, or violates your rights, you may report it to support@circlelink.app. We will review the report and take appropriate action where necessary.
6. Privacy and Data Use
We respect your privacy. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that certain personal data may be collected and processed as necessary to provide and improve the Service.
We aim to minimize the amount of personal data we collect. Examples may include your name, email address, charging session data, and basic vehicle preferences. We do not sell personal data, and we do not access your contacts or social media information.
Use of the Service via social login (Google, Apple) gives us access only to your basic profile information (name and email). You can revoke access at any time via your Google or Apple account settings.
Your data may be shared with trusted partners (such as EV charging operators or infrastructure providers) only when necessary to enable charging or support technical operations. We only share data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Personal data is stored only as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill our legal obligations. By default, we delete or anonymize inactive or unused personal data within 3 months, unless longer retention is legally required (e.g., under accounting or security regulations).

7. Software
Your use of any software, libraries, or systems integrated with the Service (including third-party components) is subject to the respective license terms. If no specific license is shown, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the software solely as part of the Service, for its intended purpose.
You must not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of any part of the software, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The latest version will always be available at www.circlelink.app/tos.
By continuing to use the Service after changes are posted, you agree to the updated Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you must stop using the Service.
9. No Warranties
The Service is provided free of charge and on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, availability, uptime, performance, or results from using the Service.
You understand and accept that EV charging conditions vary based on multiple external factors (weather, traffic, charging station availability, battery condition, driving behavior, etc.).
We make reasonable efforts to display up-to-date information, but we do not warrant that maps, charging station data, or estimated range calculations will always be accurate or suitable for your specific needs.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Circle Link shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profit, revenue, or business interruption arising out of or in connection with:
1. the use or inability to use the Service,
2. third-party system outages or API issues (e.g. EV charging providers),
3. inaccuracies or delays in location, map or charging information,
4. data loss, technical bugs, or security incidents beyond our reasonable control.
Use the Service at your own risk and with appropriate caution.
10. Fees and Charges
Use of the Circle Link application is subject to a service fee of 4% per EV charging session. This fee is calculated based on the total amount charged by the charging station operator and is automatically included in the final payment at the time of transaction.
Circle Link does not own or operate the charging stations; it facilitates access to partner stations and processes payments on behalf of the user.
By initiating a charging session through the app, you authorize the application of this service fee and agree to any charges set by the third-party charging station operator. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting those costs before confirming the charging session.
Circle Link does not currently offer subscription plans or recurring billing. Any future introduction of paid features or subscription options will be clearly communicated and subject to separate terms.
You are responsible for any costs incurred through your use of third-party charging stations accessed via the Service. Circle Link facilitates access and transaction processing but is not the owner or operator of the charging infrastructure.
Circle Link reserves the right to introduce additional service features or pricing models in the future, including but not limited to subscription plans or premium functionality. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that such fees may be implemented and that continued use may be subject to updated terms and pricing.
12. Changes to or Cancellation of the Service
Circle Link reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without prior notice. This may include changes to features, availability, design, functionality, or third-party integrations.
We are not responsible for any losses, damages, or data unavailability resulting from such modifications or interruptions, whether temporary or permanent.
In line with our data retention policy, we may delete account-related data that has not been accessed for a specified period (currently up to 3 months) after the termination or inactivity of your account.
13. Interpretation
If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable term that most closely reflects the original intent. All remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect and shall not be affected or impaired.
These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with their plain meaning and the intent of the parties, and shall be applied to the fullest extent permitted by law.
14. Assignment
UAB CircleLink reserves the right to assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms of Use, in whole or in part, to any third party, at any time and without prior notice or your consent.
You may not assign, delegate, or otherwise transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms, whether temporarily or permanently, to any third party without our prior written approval. Any attempt to do so without such approval will be null and void.
15. Alerts and Notices
All notices, disclosures, and communications related to the Service or these Terms of Use will be provided in electronic form. You agree and acknowledge that:
Circle Link may send you updates, notices, or other important communications via:
Email or SMS to the contact information you provided when registering for the Service,
In-app notifications or messages, or
By posting information on our official website at www.circlelink.app.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and for checking communications regularly. Notices provided through any of the channels above shall be deemed received on the date of transmission or posting, as applicable.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use, and any contractual or non-contractual disputes or claims arising from or in connection with them or your use of the Service, shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict of law rules or principles.
You agree that:
All disputes, controversies, or claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service, including the breach, termination, or validity thereof, shall be settled exclusively by the competent courts of the Republic of Lithuania.
The venue for any such proceedings shall be the District Court of Vilnius, unless a different venue is required by mandatory provisions of applicable law.
By using the Service, you knowingly and voluntarily waive any right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action or representative proceeding. You also waive any objection to the jurisdiction or venue of these courts, including those based on inconvenience or improper venue.
Nothing in this section shall prevent Circle Link from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in any jurisdiction to prevent the unauthorized use or misuse of the Service, infringement of its intellectual property rights, or breach of confidentiality.
17. Cancellation and Termination of the Service
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the Circle Link mobile application from your device. If you have registered an account, you may also request its deletion by contacting us at support@circlelink.app.
As Circle Link currently does not offer paid subscriptions, no cancellation process via app store platforms is required. If any premium features are introduced in the future, the applicable terms of the App Store or Google Play Store will apply to subscription management and cancellation.
Circle Link reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service, temporarily or permanently, in the following cases:
If you breach these Terms of Use;
If you violate applicable laws or third-party terms (e.g., OCPI-linked operators);
If your account is inactive for a prolonged period;
If Circle Link discontinues or materially alters the Service.
We may retain your personal data and service usage records for up to three (3) months following the deletion of your account or your last activity on the Service. After this period, such data may be permanently deleted or anonymized, unless we are legally required to retain it longer for compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes. We are not liable for any loss resulting from such deletion.
18. Copyrights, Trademarks, and Intellectual Property
All content and materials provided as part of the Circle Link Service—including but not limited to the names CIRCLE LINK, UAB CircleLink, associated logos, the mobile application design, website content, underlying software, code, and data—are the property of UAB CircleLink, registered at S. Dariaus ir S. Girėno g. 42A, LT-02189 Vilnius, Lithuania, or licensed from third parties.
These assets are protected by national and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal or authorized commercial use only.
You may not:
Reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service or any of its components;
Use any of Circle Link’s branding, trademarks, or content without prior written permission;
Reverse engineer, extract source code, or tamper with the Service or any related technology.
Any unauthorized use of the Service’s intellectual property may result in legal action, including but not limited to injunctive relief and claims for damages.
